Massachusetts-based interior plant designer Emily Lohr grew up around plants in her parents’ home. She bought her first house plants in college, starting off with a couple classic beginner plants: a snake plant & philodendron (they’re still alive!). As she began her career in the corporate world, her passion for plants took off, spending weekends at plant shops growing her collection. Her home plant collection now hovers around 60 and caring for plants brings her so much joy.

Planteuse [plan-TUHZ] comes from the French word for planter and ‘euse’ makes the word feminine, so one could think of the direct translation as a plant lady. Our mission is to elevate your space with greenery.
